  2. Techniques: advanced weathering (chipping, pigments, oils). Blending with glazing for seamless transitions. Advanced techniques (NMM, OSL, or freehand) are applied to focal parts.

  3. Recommended For: centrepieces and heroes, or for displaying high-impact models in a cabinet that will still see occasional gameplay.

Grand Exhibition

Bespoke Vision. Crafted Artistry.

The ultimate expression of your vision and our mastery. These are pure display pieces, intended as unique, bespoke works of art.

  1. Aesthetic Focus: unique custom-made Pieces. Emphasis on atmosphere, dynamic lighting, and integrated storytelling.

  2. Techniques: additional glazing and full freehand elements. Advanced techniques (Full NMM, Full OSL) applied across the entire model.

  3. Recommended For: models destined solely for display in a cabinet or competition. You will not want to use these for playing.

Voidstar Studios is an Italian miniature painting studio, that began with the focused dedication of a passionate artist. Our journey started many years ago much like many others: with a starter set received one Christmas, a handful of plastic parts, and the challenge of a first brush. That initial spark grew into something essential.Over the years, the miniatures became more than just pieces for a game; they were a constant, a small, intricate world we could shape and control amidst the kind of unpredictable change and challenge that life inevitably presents. The concentration required for a steady hand, the focus on blending colors, and the patient process of translating a tiny vision into reality became a constant, grounding pursuit through years of study, shifting careers, and new experiences. That commitment to detail, honed through countless hours at the workbench, is what still defines our standards today.

We first started painting paid commissions for fellow gamers purely through word-of-mouth.
